These rings are made to order from ethically sourced fire opals and recycled copper. The particular stones I use are raw and vary from blue, to green to purple - if you would prefer a certain colour of opal, please let me know at check out.
The photos illustrate examples of past rings. Each ring is unique and each stone is different as nature intended. The stones used in these rings are between 5mm and 8mm in width. Each stone setting will vary in texture too - forming metal is unpredictable! .
This ring is from my copper range. Copper jewellery has been said to bring health benefits. My process involves electroforming, which is essentially growing copper around the stone and band to form the ring. This results in unique rings - no two are exactly the same! The ring bands are around 1.5mm thick. Please note the texturing on the ring bands.
These rings can be kept shiny with a polishing cloth. Please keep clean and dry. Copper can tarnish as it oxidises and after contact with the elements but can be easily restored to its original beauty with a bit of a polish. As the oxidisation happens, some people may experience tinging on their skin, but this is harmless & can be easily solved with clear nail polish on the band. Please be careful with things like jumpers as these rings do not have a smooth setting or stone and may catch on things if you are not careful.
